Meet Michaela
As a young girl I always had a deep connection to horses. Growing up on acreage at the base of Mt Tamborine, my Step-Mum bought me my first horse and a bond formed like no other I had experienced. It was a Sacred Space where there were no expectations, no pressure, no performance. Just presence.
As the years went by and I transitioned into becoming a single mother juggling the expectations and pressures of life - it was during the quiet moments I would spend in the paddock with my own horses, that I would feel my body start to soften, my mind become quiet and an overwhelming feeling of being held would rush over me.
Often tears would flow, a release, a shift – the horse would respond by a yawn or a stomp. Our energies connected. Our hearts synchronised. The initiation into remembering the power of Healing Horse Medicine had begun.
